- Answer I bought this phone open box refurbished for AT&T and it worked just fine for me. All they had to do was sign me up and pop one of their SIM cards in, and voila! And yes it is quite fast and will accept some of the latest android updates. Above average for Android platform phone for sure and personally I like it more than any iPhone I've owned.

- Answer No it is not 5G, but 5G is overrated anyways. Slightly faster data performance but the area coverage is basically the same. This phone uses 4G LTE as far as I know and it has been very good to me. Definitely usable in my opinion for 2022, and even if it isn't the latest, $150 is a steal for a quality refurbished phone.

QuestionIs there a way to prevent the phone from rendering images where the camera is located? Am I stuck from the phone wrapping photos and videos around the camera? It is annoying when there is a black dot visible when you are viewing a video or photo.

- Answer I don't know about Indian sim, but we use this phone in Sierra Leone, West Africa with no difficulty at all using the country sim. As long as you buy unlocked, it should work anywhere. We've also used Ghanian, Rwandan, and Kenyan sim without difficulty.
