Moto G Stylus (2022) on Page 46 in the User Guide "moto g stylus (2022).NA Retail.UG.EN_US.SSC8D42714-A.pdf" shows: FM Radio Find it: Swipe up > FM Radio Plug in a headset, then use the arrows to tune to a higher/lower frequency station. Note: Your phone has the Frequency Modulation (FM) broadcast receiver functionality for reception without data usage. The phone will perform an auto tuning for the radio channels with the best signal. The FM radio in mine works very well.

And the Android 11 Live Captions also works with the FM Radio app. Live captions are most easily turned on by pressing the volume down button and then tapping the live caption icon that's just below the volume slider to make it un-cross the caption icon. Crossed box = captions off, uncrossed box - captions on. Once the captions start up over any speech heard in the audio, you can double-tap inside the caption to make it expand to more lines of text. You can also drag it up and down the screen so it's not covering some area of the screen you want to see. Look at the screenshot I've included. You WILL need WIRED earphones plugged in to work as the antenna or you won't be able to receive the FM broadcasts (unless maybe you're right next door to the station's radio tower.) You can click the sound icon in Motorola's FM Radio app to choose whether you want the sound to go to the headphones, loudspeaker, or Bluetooth speaker if you have one connected via Bluetooth. I usually plug in the earphones as the antenna and then play the sound through a nearby Bluetooth speaker I have that sounds really good.

Please try again later.I don't know about the Moto G Stylus (2021), but on June 10, 2022, I bought a Moto G Stylus unlocked phone with no NFC< no 5G, in the Twilight Blue model with 6+128GB memory and mine, with its manufacture date of 2022-03-04 on the end of the box DOES have a working FM Radio and an "FM Radio" app came pre-installed by default. It does require the earphones to be plugged in as the antenna. Beware! I did have to sign the $45 restocking fee agreement BEFORE I could open the box to test the phone, but I got lucky this time. There was NOTHING in the advertising literature mentioning the FM Radio, not even on the pamphlet included inside the box with the phone. The GsmAreana website even says "FM Radio: No" about this phone. Oddly enough, the NextRadio app that I downloaded says "You're in luck!" and that I have an FM radio, but when I tried to use NextRadio, it next said it "could not connect to network". I have no idea why NextRadio fails, but the preinstalled FM Radio app works great, so I don't care. I can even listen to the local broadcast radio stations while the phone is in airplane mode with Wi-Fi and mobile data off. The FM Radio app also allows me to choose if I want the audio to go to the headphones, the phone's built-in loudspeaker, or to a Bluetooth speaker if I'm connected to one. Android 11's "Live Captioning" feature can even produce captioning for speech from the FM radio app. This works best with the news or sports radio channels, but just says [MUSIC] if it hears anything that sounds like music or if there is music playing in the background of whoever is talking. I've included a screenshot of the FM Radio playing with captioning.
