Q: QuestionI hope that the Moto G6 is compatible with Straight talk like my Moto X was - that was a great little phone. Will the Moto G6 be compatible with Straight Talk as well? My current phone is not unlocked and competes with messages and is full of junk ads.
Asked by TNlady52.
- A:Answer According to the Straight Talk website, it is. They show a XT1925DL model. I have a different one, which has more RAM and 64GB ROM. Still, I decided to pay $30 more at Best Buy instead of having extra Google junk loaded onto it. Just place you sim card in and it should work providing you buy an unlocked phone.

Q: QuestionIf I buy the Moto G6 how long will I have to stay with Verizon, AT&T or Sprint if I do an Activate Today with one of them?
Asked by Karl.
- A:Answer If I remember correctly, you stay with them for 2 years. Unfortunately, I don't remember 100% because for where I live and what I do for work, I have to have Verizon for ample coverage. So for me, it doesn't really matter how long I have to stay because I am always going to be with Verizon. There also may be different lengths of time for different carriers. Your instore Best Buy associate should be able to answer this question for you accurately. If not convenient to be in the store, I would just give them a quick ring. Hope this helps!

Q: QuestionMy daughter is purchasing a unlocked phone for me online and I am picking it up in another state, my carrier is Boost Mobile but on the activation part of the ordering it doesn't show Boost mobile .I don't want to activate it later because it's $100 more.
Asked by Driver.
- A:Answer I'm on Straight Talk using the AT&T option. Same issue, the only online activation options was with Sprint. I don't know if that was for new accounts only or not. I paid the extra $$ because I couldn't find another option and all of the other places selling Moto 6G had the same issue or price as the post activation cost.
