“On the specs listed here, it says it is not compatible with Mint Mobile. However, Mint's website says that this model, unlocked, should work fine with them. Is there something about Best Buy's version that is different?”

Well, this is the second "unlocked" phone I've purchased from here and both were setup and used in Jamaica right away. There wasn't any issues with using the local network providers there. So, it is unlocked to any network.
