A:AnswerThe device is perfectly capable of wourking on US Cellular. The problem is they won't allow it. They are still stuck in the carrier-branded-only mode, like Verizon and Sprint a few years ago.
You could try SIM swapping, but I they might disable the account when they noitice the unapproved device or turn of features (like Verizon used to do).
A:AnswerI'm not an Apple guy, but I'd think that if you have enough SD card you could do so that way...you might have to think outside the box a little since the operating systems are internally quite different.
A:AnswerMost sim cards are available in multiple sizes to accommodate most phones. You break it out of a card (it's kind of perforated) and should work. The moto X⁴ works with almost any carrier. There are plenty of sites to check that on. Start with Google and you should know fairly quickly. And BTW I purchased this phone because it does work on nearly every network. I haven't found one in my area hat doesn't.

A:AnswerHi Ready2buy
Thanks for your interest. Motorola is headquartered and based in the US, and much of the work that goes into creating a phone is here. However, like most manufacturers, the phones are primarily built overseas. -Jess
A:AnswerMy old Moto G3 would cast flawlessly with the little Chromecast device and my new Moto X acts no different. There probably could be an app out there that you can fiddle with but nobody likes to fiddle with stuff these days. I am not familiar with what mhl compatibility is. I haven't been able to cast anything to my Samsung smart TV yet. But if I plugged in the Chromecast it would be no issue. Haven't tried Roku yet.
A:AnswerIt will take the updates depending on when your carrier pushes them out. I use Total Wireless and I'm on 8.1 and receive regular security updates.
