I sure hope so, as I travel to Beijing with my wife all the time. From what I have read, this phone "Should" work in certain areas of China, and that is the reason I bought the phone in the first place. Just as with any cellphone, they don't always work in all areas of the United States either. Depends on the cell phone network you're connected to. This phone has all the necessary wireless frequencies needed for China, so would say it's up to what carrier you subscribe too in China.

If your area of China has 4g then, yes, it will work. This is a global phone.
