• We got the unlocked one I personally use application called Enhanced SMS & Caller ID - talking caller id, text messaging, email and more! Give it a try. Only on the Google Play store. This will read your messages and you can answer. You can't ask it to send a text for you. http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ekawas.blogspot.com I also have Alexa dot in my car that I use the Alexa Mastermind app with and I can text etc with it without touching my phone. I do see the drive app but I don't use it. That is the best I can tell you.

• Yup, through the Moto app you can send and receive texts via voice. The app will detect when you are driving. You also have the option of adding locations that will allow the same feature when you are present at those locations. Hope that helps.
