• Not band 12 unfortunately but the other T-Mobile bands it does support. Used for a few days on T-Mobile and it worked great.

• It will indeed support T-Mobile band 12. Motorola has already stated as much but have not updated the product page. If you Google Moto Z Play band 12 you can find confirmation

• The North American unlocked model XT1635 which is this phone only supports band 2 and 4. The UK version however does support band 12: http://www.motorola.co.uk/products/moto-z-play#Specifications
