I switched to Verizon two years ago and the price they quoted for the phones and the service was exactly what they said it would be and I've never had to call them dispute a charge I didn't understand or anything extra that shouldn't be there. I can not say the same about the other large carrier and that's why I changed after ten years of service. I've never had a phone that wasn't ready to be replaced or upgraded after two years. My opinion is that they are all made to last about two years. The latest Moto for and existing customer is $10 a month and you end up getting it for a little over half the retail price. The Samsung's are $18-$27 a month depending on the model and you end up paying a little over half the retail on them. We used Best Buy online to upgrade our Verizon phones and there were no hidden fees or anything negative about the transaction and our phones came with sim cards in and ready to go. They walk through transferring everything over and your ready to go.

A person can pay off the balance anytime but there is certainly no discount unless you follow the full 2 year circuit. Like the buy one get one free thing...if you pay the one phone off early, say at one year then the discount goes away and you will be paying full for the other device that still had a year of payments for free. Then the discount becomes much less, hehe they murmur among themselves in those offices at AT&T, VERIZON and all the rest.

It's $5 if you're changing carriers. We have a family plan with 6GB data shared, so in this case, it's $10 a month more, but my wife and I bought Galaxy S10+s outright, which dropped our bill, because she had a Note 8 and I had a Galaxy S8+ and together we had roughly $60 a month in installment charges. Thus, we're saving about $50 a month. 6 of one, 1/2 doz of another.

That way, you can choose your preferred carrier to use on that device. In case you need help, please email us at [email protected] to further assist you. - Frank
