Is this phone unlocked null

Verizon network-locks the phone for 60 days after activation; supposed to be automatic unlock thereafter or can go to a Verizon store and get it unlocked. Understand this is a new policy this year from Verizon, as an "anti-theft" measure. Doesn't make sense to me, but I've heard from multiple sources that the device will be unlocked after 60 days.

Yes it is, but make sure you get the one that is unlocked for any carrier.
