“Does the included charger have a full size USB-C port on the charger and that end of the cable, or USB-A? I've ordered two phones for my wife and I, and am deciding on wall outlets with integrated USB for bedside. I know it will charge slower.”

Yes, it's USB C at the phone end and a detachable USB A at the other. So yes, you can charge it either directly with a 2 pin socket or by detaching it and using the USB A port instead.
