“How is the speed on this one compared to comcast?”

• This modem/router works very well with comcast/xfinity, EXCEPT this modem/router will only handle up to 600 mb, according to comcast/xfinity because it is a DOCSIS3.0 modem, if you have 1 gig service you have to get a modem/router that can handle 1 gig according to comcast , that would be a unit that is a DOCSIS3.1 modem.

• I feel the speed is as good as the modem from Comcast. I started out with the Comcast modem but bought my own due to the cost of renting over time.

• The MotoroIa M7711 is faster, I like it. Easy to install and worked without any problems. I recommend it especially the savings with having your on modem and not paying Comcast monthly for their device.
