“Can you still use the voice thing on the remote control of your tv with this modem?”

• The voice portion is connected to your cable box at your TV and does not have anything to do with the modem/router. As long as you have the X1 platform box and a voice remote you can change out the modem/router and save money.

• Yes the voice command on the remote still works. Everything works fine . It was a good purchase to save $15 a month.

• If your talking about the Xfinity voice control, it will be limited control as that a user provided modem isn't under there control.
