“I have a modem and a Belkin router in my basement. When I try to stream video from some source like Netflix it is often times slow. The router I have now is older and not dual band. Would this AC1900 router/modem combo from Motorola help me?”

yes the ac1900 i believe would solve your issues. with mine i can watch netflix while my son is streaming movies and my wife is on her ipad with issues.
