Must Call Xfinity Technical Support to ... 1. Activate your Motorola modem/router/voice 2. Be sure to get the info at the bottom, Xfinity would need it. 3. After the modem/router is activated and you checked your internet to be working, ask Xfinity to activate also the phone line. You ill be transferred to another tech support who deals with phone activation (don't agree if they tell you your phone will be activated after a week). 4. Be patient. All of the above will be completed in 45 minutes. 5. It's a good modem. 6. Return your rented Xfinity modem to an Xfinity store and must talk to an associate to remove the returned modem from your account to remove your monthly payment. You will be given a confirmation. 7. Good decision!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just plugged it in, waited for the lights to settle and then attempted to browse the internet. A Comcast landing page came up asking to prove I was the owner of the account and once I did that, the modem was provisioned by Comcast and then rebooted itself. Once it finished rebooting, the internet worked.
