One is Blue & Black T-800 and the ohter is Green & Black T-801. Both models are extremely alike, setting aside the colors that they come with. This being said, it is no surprise that there isn’t exactly any difference between their set-up procedures. Setting up the T800 and the T801 is extremely easy, even to a beginner. Its basic functions are also relatively easy to understand and perform. To start up both devices, all you need to do is place the battery inside the radio by opening the hatch located at the back. After doing so, you may proceed to turn on the device via the power knob. Both are FRS and GMRS capable so for the use of the GMRS channels a license is needed.
