- Answer For us, the night vision is extremely good, even better than our older model of this same monitor, so they made a pretty good improvement in that area. It is black & white, so you lose colors, but it looks a lot better than the "fuzzy green" you see from night vision goggles on TV shows.

- Answer Yes, but only in straight line. You can adjust the base round thing to set the angle and then move lens to point on the target..
