• Not sure how loud the green box is but this one is loud enough; I only turned the volume halfway up as to not disturb my neighbors.

• I was also hoping to connect to external speakers. But, unlike Halloween, where people are walking by constantly, only the occasional car would slow down and any louder and it would bug the neighbors. So, it wasn't as big a negative as I had anticipated. I only run with it about 40% volume.

• The volume is similar to the green box. You can google mr christmas hack and they show you how to add a FM transmitter so people can listen in their car or add external amplified speaker.
