For how many hrs kipp the coffee hot null

It will keep the coffee hot for about 2 hours. I love this coffeemaker!

It will need extra heat after about an hour to an hour and a half. This is pathetic when considering todays thermal technology is far better by being to maintain heat for 5 - 6 hours or better. It would really be nice if Mr Coffee made a Thermal Carafe that would actually keep coffee hot and fresh for a longer period of time. I get up at 5:30 to go to work. My wife gets up at 7:30. By that time the coffee is luke warm and needs to be reheated. I will buy a new carafe from Mr Coffee if they every make one. Or, maybe their competition will make one that I can switch to. If you can finish you pot within 1 hour, then the Mr Coffee is ok.
