“Mr Coffee with thermal carafe is about 6 months old and has started making weak coffee. The coffee grounds in the basket are leaving dry grounds. I have cleaned pot as advised. What is the fix?”

• My coffee maker did the same thing after I bought some cheap water filtration disks (not Mr. Coffee brand). I now don't use any disk, I just use my filtered water from my refrigerator door, instead of buying the expensive disks. Don't buy the cheap off brand disks, they do not work.
