Does the clock have a light so the time can be seen?

For our old Mr Coffee, the clock display was lit in the background but for this one, it it is not - we can't tell if this is working as designed or a defect.

There is no light for the clock on this Mr Coffee pot. I would’ve never bought it if I’d known.

No! Its perfectly fine the way it is. In a modern kitchen today , There are so many lights shining that you really don't need another light on a coffee maker ! I have this coffee maker and its perfectly fine the way it is!
