QuestionSince there is no shut off button, should we assume it's safe to leave the empty carafe on the warmer? Don't want to reset clock everytime i unplug it but am shocked there's no off button.

- Answer The "off" button is the "brew now" button. As soon as you press it, the warmer timer shuts off, and the plate warmer turns off.

- Answer Unfortunately, if you want the actual Mr. Coffee replacement the only place that has it is Walmart or maybe EBay. You can't find it in any other place. You can probably find a different vendor 14 cup but not Mr. Coffee. I returned mine.
