QuestionI followed the instructions to set the clock. By pushing the min and hour at the same time. I cannot change the clock time. I would like better instructions on how to set the clock, as the above instructions did not work.

- Answer You should be able to just change the hour and the minute separately. Not by holding them together. I have had this style coffee pot for over 5 years and have always been able to change the time that way.

QuestionThe description indicates that brew strength can be controlled. How? When I try to make only 4 cups, the coffee is too weak. I end up having to use enough coffee grounds for 6 cups if I only want 4.

- Answer I use Bustelo coffee grinds so for me the use of four cups is enough to make strong coffee.

- Answer The beauty of this product is that it does not have a warming plate. The area where the carafe rests is likely accumulating dripped coffee, water deposits, etc. Try cleaning the area with a one part white vinegar-3 parts water solution. If that doesn’t help and you find that the plastic surface is actually deteriorating, return it.

- Answer I have same problem but have cleaned several times with vinegar and it is still making schilling noise and light on clean button is lit up despite being cleaned..Why? Must be broken time to replace I guess and I have never found a brew strength control button .. figment of someone’s imagination I guess!
