I have BUT it is very tedious, check out the videos on YouTube, you have to remove the motherboard to get to the ports. The motherboard is installed upside down. If you want to risk voiding the laptop by removing all of the components, go ahead. I did it the day I bought the laptop and took about a hour to do and works like a charm. (Very small wires and ribbons you need to keep track where they go when removing it too, FYI)

But sure its fast as is with more memory strap in its going to be a rocket. Mine works great bought it just 30 days ago and nothing I play makes it hiccup.

To install the ram, you would have to flip the motherboard once you open up the laptop which requires you to unplug a lot of the internals, but it's not too bad (there are Youtube videos showing how to do it). I have just used the installed 16 gb for now and don't see a need for it yet.
