• No it is the manufacturer warranty

• Yes, the warranty the product has is provided by MSI, but it will not cover damages on poor assembly. But the only way to tell if the motherboard is dead on arrival (which it won’t be) is to assemble the pc. If this is your first time building, isn’t really an issue.
