Hello Bob. Users can’t upgrade this laptop processor because it is soldered to the motherboard. Thank you for choosing Intel.

No, laptops generally have soldered on CPUs (and most other components). Typically, the only thing you can upgrade is the RAM and storage, and even then some models don't allow it because they're soldered on in all slots.
