I just got this laptop, and I can confirm that the HDMI port is HDMI 2.1. I am able to get 4k 120hz with HDR on through the HDMI port on my LG CX.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Better, it has a usb-c dport 1.4.1 capable of 8k. I believe the hdmi is 2.0 but not 100%

It's just that you won't get 4K@120Hz and would be limited to 60Hz. However, I think there are very few games that even a laptop this powerful would be able to run at 120 fps at 4K. That can be a challenge even for desktop cards like the 3090. I think we are a couple of years away from having desktops consistently capable of 4K @ 120fps and that would be even longer for laptops. Just my opinion though, I could be proven wrong!

Please try again later.I cannot say for sure but MSI's specification page for this configuration GE66 10UG-039 (scroll to the rightmost configuration) just says HDMI supports 4K@60Hz which leads me to believe it's only HDMI 2.0 or 2.0b or something like that. My understanding is HDMI 2.1 can do 4K@120Hz. Here is MSI's spec page: https://us.msi.com/Laptop/GE66-Raider-10UX/Specification
