“I just recently bought this laptop. It runs good and all but for some reason, whenever i turn it on, the msi true color pops up on the bottom right and then the light bar turns off but they keyboard light stays on. How do i keep the light bar on?”

Hi there, If you have the last version of steel series which is 3.1.0... you should delete it because it has problems.....currently, the are working to fix it......download old version 3.20.0

Please try again later.You should find the steel series software that controls the keyboard and light bar under your start menu click that and that should bring you to the steel series menu where you can check to see if the lights are set to stay on or off and to change any color by the software also if the steel series software isn’t running in the taskbar then by default it is set to turn in the keyboard lights and turn off the lightbar everything is controlled by the steel series app. If you need to install it then head over to msi website and redownload it. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I HAD A SOMWHAT SIMILAR PROBLEM WHERE MY KEYBOARD WOULDN'T LIGHT UP BUT THEN I FOUND THAT IF I ACCESSED THE STEELSERIES ENGINE3 APP I WAS ABLE TO CHANGE ALL KINDS OF SETTINGS ON THE LIGHTBAR AND KEYBOARD. HOPE THIS HELPS.
