The LED bar turns off if you dont want to use it. There is no version of this laptop specifically without the led bar. The gs66 might be a better option for you if not wanting led bar

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.They make the GS66 Stealth which has a slower 3070, but you aren't paying 200 for the bar. You're paying 200 for the max tgp 3070 that runs 115-130w, 16 extra GB of ram, 240hz refresh, upgraded cooling that won't throttle your system etc. This laptop is outrunning 2080 desktops, which is pretty insane.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can turn off the LED bar colors if that is a part of the issue. This will also turn off the colors on the keyboard as well. You must press FN + F9, this will alternate between the default keyboard configurations colors. Keep pressing and you will alternate between color types, until you get the option that turns both LED bar and keyboard off.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you don't like the lightbar you can turn it off using the pre-installed steelseries software. If you don't like the fact that it's thereat all, MSI make other models such as the GS66, GP65, or you could look at other manufacturers.
