Unfortunately, you cannot swap out laptop cards. They are usually embedded on the motherboard. Now if you computer has a Thunderbolt port on it and if you have a E-GPU enclosure, you would be able to use the machine. The only drawback with it, you won't see that much of an improvement due to thunderbolt port bottleneck.
