The RTX 4080 GAMING X TRIO 16G is not a laptop GPU.

Laptops will have a GPU in it that NVIDIA will call a 4090 or 4080, but these laptop versions are far weaker than their desktop counterparts. A laptop 4090 is about as powerful as a desktop 3080, which is pretty powerful in its own right, but certainly a far cry from the desktop 4090. The 4080 16 GB card is a desktop class card, which far exceeds the power of a laptop 4090, yes. Currently, there are no laptops that use desktop class 40 series cards.
