“i can get 120hz on 1080p but when i change it to 1440p it goes to 60hz how can i fix that?”

• I'm having the same problem with my Xbox series s. I can only run either 1080p @ 120hz or 1440p @ 60hz. It will not let me run 1440p @ 120hz. I'm using the HDMI that came with my Xbox series s, which I would assume is HDMI 2.0. If anyone can help me that would be great.

• If you are plugging it into a laptop or older graphics card, the HDMI probably does not support 1440P 120hz.

• That depends on the type of source you have connected to the monitor.
