Yes it is. In the Nvidia setting it will say not supported but have the option to enable G-sync. MSI is on record saying all their monitors will be compatible with G-Sync.

In short yes it is compatible with Nvidia gpu but there are some caveats. Like the monitor software may bug out from time to time. But nothing too serious
