• Freesync will not work on nvidia graphics cards (the card you specified is a nvidia). It is for amd cards only. However, the 165 hz will work, and this monitor is still definitely a good choice for the rtx 2080.

• This model does feature FreeSync adaptive technology. You can connect the monitor to an RTX 2080 graphics card using DisplayPort.
