QuestionI decided to install a 2tb SSD and a 64gb DDR5 RAM kit. SSD installed without an issue, but the DIMM slots have a black metal cover over them making the upgrade impossible. Does this laptop not support a RAM upgrade? Anyone had this issue?

- Answer The Black metal plate works as Heatsink for the DDR RAM, not many manufacturers provide such heatsink for ram now days and I'm totally happy MSI with the GP series provide such little piece of hardware, But yeah, makes it tricky to get there and upgrade the RAM but in the other hand you have a free RAM heatsink.

QuestionHow does this laptop handle 4K and 360 video editing? If I am looking for a laptop to do 4K and 360 video rendering/editing with PowerDirector or Abobe, would this be the one to get, or should I consider the GP76?

- Answer I haven't done any 4k editing,but this Laptop is capable of handling such resolution (considering specs on the GE76 are lower than what this laptop have, this device is a translation of the GE67HX / GE77HXmodel of the Raider series, the GP66HX just lest features e.g. no Mini DP , no OLED screen an the screen is not as good as the Raider HX series)

QuestionMine came with 32 GB DDR5. What is the max I can go? Crucial would even recognize this laptop to give data.

- Answer The CPU can support up to 128GB of memory, but I believe the laptop is built to support 64GB max. 64Gb is more than enough for the next 5 years and there is nothing wrong with 32GB.

- Answer MHZ doesn't mean anything when it comes to playing games. The 3070ti is a great mobile GPU that will make you happy for many years to come. Plus the CPU this laptop offers is the fastest mobile CPU on the market. I've owned this laptop for 3 weeks and it's played every game at 1440p without any issues. 100+ FPS in MW2 and BF2042 - zero complaints.
