• You can remove and replace the i3-8100 should you get an i5 or higher Coffee Lake processor. You may need to purchase additional thermal paste for your cooler (if you don't have enough to reapply it when you get the processor) but that's about it!

• You can replace the CPU, however, it must be of the "Coffee Lake" variety. It is not backwards compatible with older processors. Supports 8th Gen Intel® CoreTM / Pentium® Celeron® processors for LGA 1151 socket
