“This has got to need a power supply with a 4pin cpu2, no cpu or memory power without it. Or am I missing something else?”

• The minimum that is required for the computer to power on; 24Pin ATX power, 8Pin CPU power, (if your system requires a graphics card) all connectors for the graphics card need to be populated.
