• No. I have one stick of memory installed on this motherboard. Crypro miner so I didn't need much. It does need to be in the second slot like most boards. I dont have a recommendation for memory. I bought what best buy had in stock.

• Virtually ALL motherboards require you to pair up your RAM slots. It is simply the way it works. As for your second question, I have no answers to that.
