Customers frequently mention the Z590 PRO WIFI motherboard's excellent Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities, along with its strong performance and ease of setup. Positive feedback also highlights its competitive price and user-friendly BIOS. However, some users experienced limitations with the M.2 slot compatibility, particularly concerning PCIe 4.0 support and SATA port functionality depending on the CPU generation.

Good Budget Board IMO

This board is great and offers a lot of great features, although most of them are meant for 11th gen CPUS. At the time Best Buy didn’t have z490 boards and I just wanted a board that was compatible with the i7 10700 Im about to get, sure I could’ve went online and bought a B or H series board since it’s a locked CPU, but after some research many say that B or H boards cuts performance on some CPUS and having locked ram so I decided just to get the MSI Z590 Pro WiFi.
So far so good, thermals are great, Power delivery is good as well and being a Z board I could turn off limited power deliveries to my CPU so it could be maxed out.
Although WIFI can be a huge problem, it is WIFI 6 so it’s still new, if you have a router that doesn’t support WIFI 6 it can be problematic. First off from my experiences, my WiFi was super slow even with my 5G connection, so slow that even on my old mobo my WiFi adapter which is generic had better speeds. Another was that WiFi wouldn’t connect or would disconnect sometimes or wouldn’t even be recognized at all, I had to mess around in device manager for it to be stable at least and after that WiFi went as normal the only advantages with this from my USB Adapter is that it won’t overheat and down clock or turn off.
Overall this is a great board, it doesn’t come with any RGB lighting which could be a no no for some, but performance wise is great.
Note: using a 10th gen CPU with z590 boards (that are compatible with 10th gen CPU’s), won’t support PCIE Express 4.0 for all lanes including M.2, it does come with a M.2 slot heatsink but it’s only for the first m.2 slot which only works with 11th gen cpus sadly, also some sata ports are disabled with 10gen cpus from my research.
Although I could be wrong about some of the info above so correct me if you want, thank you for reading!

This motherboard is modern and the Wi-Fi is really worth. Is just not nice looking, but if you want it for the Wi-Fi it's all you need.

This is a good board with a good looking BIOS GUI. uefi or Bios mode.
PCIE gen3 with intel gen 10 cpu,
PCIE gen4 with Intel gen 11 cpu. and gen 11 opens up more pcie lanes.
excellent hardware, all drivers installed easily. win 10.
theres onboard pins for both 12v and 5v LED's, and good software to control it all. I use both types, and a splitter hub, and it all works perfect.
the reviews on the software say it bogs down their system, but I've never had an issue.
onboard video, I believe, requires a cpu with video integrated.
Im using i5 10400 locked, pcie gen3 / 64gb RAM / gforce 1650 / 2 nvme drives / 4 sata hdd / 1 sata ssd / usb3.2 gen 2x2 pcie card
I've output to 4 screens at once with vid card and onboard.
great board, no issues that I've found yet.(3 months)

Update bios and bam, Windows 11 ready. Solid and strong since day 1, no issues. Check your Linux kernal version on your distro of choice if you mess/work in that environment as the WiFi is AX210. I'm not a Linux power user (but I dabble) and at this time I leave the kernal alone unless some update pushes it by itself. Wifi/Bluetooth didn't work in Ubuntu 20, but it does in 21. Good board, recommended. Good luck getting DDR5, maybe next year, maybe...

I purchased this mobo after having issues with an Asus one and so far it’s okay. I think it does what it needs to but for the price I would expect a few more features. The board comes with one nvme heat sink which can only be used on the first m2 slot. You can only use the first m2 slot if you have an 11th gen processor. My ethernet cord is also not registering, but I fixed that with a USB to Lan connector. Depending on your setup the cable management might be a little wonky. And last but not least I did not receive the full manual that you can find online, I received a picture pamphlet that only included pictures of the installation of the main parts. Each picture had a QR code that linked to videos but they still weren’t helpful. Luckily I already had computer building experience. I understand you get what you pay for but I just wanted to try another brand after my Asus fail, so i’m not disappointed, but rather longing for a few more features.

Great motherboard. Performs great. Previously used with a 10700k. Only con is that using 10th gen cpus, the first m.2 slot is locked. Its only available with 11th gen cpus.

This one has nice features for the money. The flash bios button was loose in the bag. I managed to put it back and sealed the metal clip in behind it but it does not work l. Kind of weird for a newly packaged item. But luckily i dont think i will use that button at all. Ive used msi mobos before in the past having one being rma'ed for a pci lane to be fixed. Plug and play product. The built in wifi is pretty fast and having bluetooth built in is awesome as i did not have on my last boards. I feel like those festures should be standard on boards today. The bios has simplified navigation and features.

Installed with a i7 11700k, overall a great motherboard for my use case of using it in a home server NAS build. I did notice that one of the sata ports did not work and this was not due to any settings like the nvme slots being utilized because I do not have any installed. Most likely just a QA issue but this did not affect my use since I am using a pcie sas controller card. The onboard multigig ethernet port offers great performance especially for most home use cases. Just make sure you have networking equipment with a multigig port to take advantage of the increased speed

Several months back I purchased this board. I liked the specs, the layout seemed pretty well thought out, and the price was right. I presumed a firmware update would resolve these things; so far, this board is still slightly temperamental, but the updates have mainly helped. I can only hope Windows 11 resolves some of this board's present shortcomings--however, advanced technology from any manufacturer always has a few caveats.

I used this board to make a crypto miner. I used a server power supply. If u want to use m.2 in the forst spot u need the gen 11 cpu.
I used 10th gen and installed m.2 in the other spot.

When my previous motherboard died after five years I wanted newer socket support and the updated SSD sockets, and this board has what I wanted at a good price. I would have liked a better manual with fewer typos but I realize that few people care about manuals at all. So far all of the ports I have used are running fine and I have no complaints at all.

Runs great with my iNTEL 10700K CPU. I have dual channel 3200MHZ Corsair RGB Ram sticks and I've had nothing but top tier performance. Definitely worth investing in if you RENDER 3d like I do.

Used this motherboard to build a new gaming PC for my son. He has been using it for 3 weeks now and it is stable with an i5-11600K and an RTX-3800. We haven't tried any of the overclocking features yet because we wanted to make sure that everything is stable first. My only gripe about the board is that it has A LOT of power connectors and it isn't clear which are required and which are "nice to have". We didn't use the PCI power connector and the video card seems to be working fine so I guess that connector is a "nice to have". Board has lots of extra features that we probably wont use, but nice to have for future-proofing.

I'm a hobbyist and had no issues with the board other than getting the configuration right to run WIndows 11. On day 4, I lost all video but luckily was able to get back into the BIOS and make some adjustments to turn fast boot off and that seems to have worked.

I purchased two motherboards for new PCs I built. Easy installations, as installation go. BIOS was easy to use. Both systems booted up fine and running great.
