No. The mxt40 is a receiver of bluetooth signals just as the soundbar is, they both need a bluetooth host signal. I have heard of apps that can potentially simultaneously group BT devices so that might be an avenue to explore.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Matt! Both the Samsung Sound Tower and Samsung Sound bars are designed to receive a Bluetooth signal rather than transmit one. The MX-T40 will not be able to connect to a Samsung soundbar, or other Bluetooth speaker outside of the Sound Tower family. Should you wish to add additional speakers, you can pair up to 10 Samsung Sound Tower speakers wirelessly via Group Play. ^Tim
