• No it is not rechargeable. It has to be plugged in. The next size up from this one does have a built in battery but unfortunately this one don't. I thought it did when i bought it but i must have missed that part in the description. But with that being said i would buy another one.

• Hi Kishock, The MX-T40 does require it to be plugged in and is not rechargeable. ^Andrew
