QuestionIs this dash cam heat resistant? Living in Sunny California temperatures tend to rise ridiculously into the triple digits. Which means inside a vehicle its just a bit hotter. Would this dash cam be safe keeping it mounted at all times?

QuestionCan this be mounted at the bottom of the windshield? I am unable to mount behind the rearview mirror due to other technology that is already occupying that space.

QuestionCan you track the vehicle location and speed using gps? I have two teens that I would like to monitor their driving habits and spot check speed.

- Answer Hi Andrew, The GPS logging feature works by logging your location and speed to your footage files, either through the app or dashcam's computer media player you can view where their trips took them and how fast they were going at the time. There is no live tracking for this model dashcam. QuestionDo you have a companion rear (NOT rear-facing) camera of the same quality as the Orbit 960. Alternatively, how will this camera perform if powered with a full vehicle (minivan) length cable from the only available power plugs in the dashboard?
