No and it doesn't sync with any new phones or devices

No, it does not. It simply tracks steps. It is not rechargeable or anything, no display. Doesn't auto sync, you have to push a button on the underside. Its very simple, but works great for young children.

It tracks steps and miles. No gps.

If you call a distance tracker then yes it tells how far you are from some where.
