You can connect a projector via HDMI
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You have 3 HDMI inputs to hookup your cable box, Apple TV box, etc. (Wish there was more.) Then just run HDMI from the soundbars TV output to your projectors input. No receiver is needed. The soundbar comes with a huge quick help sheet that tells you how to hook everything up. If you use smart apps built into the tv like Netflix, etc it has you connect things a little different so you get the full sound effects from the soundbar. The experience is more from what you are inputing, meaning the quality of the movie and how it's encoded. Does it support atmos, is it just 5.1 surround, etc. The demo cd is interesting to listen too. Having two subs is nice. The speakers seem to be so light and cheap, but seem to put out good audio. I have had a few movies with great audio and made a world of difference but seems to be very few that are that impressive for some reason. Problems that I have had is delay in audio to come on at times for a few seconds for it to pick up the signal. I have an HDMI switch and Mac Mini connected and sometimes I don't get sound. Not sure if its the HDMI switch causing it or the Mac Mini but usually have to switch inputs a few times on the soundbar or reboot Mac Mini. I wish all soundbars had far more HDMI connections as 3 isn't enough for everyone. My receiver I had previously 6 and I had them all filled.
