They are 9 inches long on each side of the 3 sided triangular shaped panel with a depth of only 0.3 inches. The packing (sheets of paper) that is used to keep the panels from scratching each other during shipping are the same size/shape as a panel. You can use those first to practice creating your design. The hanging strips for the panels can only be used once but if you do screw up follow the instructions for the proper way to remove the strips without damaging your wall. Keep in mind they only include enough hanging strips for one project. That's why it's important to use those sheets of paper to practice the layout first. Take your time and be patient. All of your hard work will be worth it the instant you turn the Nanoleaf on. See picture to see how a panel is measured (the picture is not to scale)
