• A:Answer Hey, we just got this, set it up in a room with only 7 foot ceilings. My wife is around 5'9", she uses it comfortably. I'm 6', and if I am standing at my tallest when a step is at its highest, my head definitely bumps against the ceiling. If I'm at a slight slump, it is okay. Certainly not ideal, but also not that bad. For our budget and purposes, I don't think there were many shorter options. Maybe I should have gone with a rowing machine. But like I said, my wife has no problem on it.

• A:Answer Yes. I set my units up in my garage where I do not, so I can not use the IFIT programs, but it works fine not using them as I like to do things manually. Possibly a technical person might be able to set up a hot spot with their phone, but I am not sure.
