• No, you can't put grounds into the machine at all. This runs on a proprietary pod system that you purchase separately.

• I believe it only takes the vertuo plus pods. I could only find them online. Also the off brands that say pods and not Keurig cups dont work with this machine because I tried to use just a simple coffee pod thinking since it said pod and not Keurig cup that it would work and it didnt
