Yes, the water reservoir detaches for cleaning or filling. You simply lift it up... just be sure to properly realign it when re-seating the water reservoir.

Yes. It’s easy to clean and it does come off. The coffee is pretty good. The selection of pods is good. I bought one for my home and another for the office.
