Does this thermostat require a c wire for power? null

The install app converts your wire names to the correct connection point on the Nest. Can't answer if that specific wire is required . I did have a c wire

No it does not require house current at the thermostat, power is supplied by a low voltage transformer either in the furnace or tapped into the wires going to the thermostat.
