Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, the newer model doesn’t have the option to use a key. Instead, you can use a 9V battery in an emergency if your internal batteries die. There are electrodes hidden on the bottom of they keypad. Just hold a battery to it and enter your code as usual.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've had one about a month and have no real key as an option. It has contacts on the bottom of the outside part of the unit that you can hold a 9-volt battery contacts up to in case the batteries inside get low.
